How to Use
Click buttons or type on your keyboard to build a mathematical expression. Use brackets for complex expressions like sin(30) + log(100).
Toggle DEG/RAD for trig functions. Use DEG for most exam problems (sin 30° = 0.5), RAD for calculus. Toggle INV for inverse functions.
Previous calculations appear below the display. Click any history entry to reuse the result in a new calculation.
Frequently Asked Questions
This calculator supports: basic arithmetic (+, −, ×, ÷), trigonometry (sin, cos, tan, and their inverses), logarithms (log₁₀ and natural log ln), powers and roots (x², x³, xʸ, √, ∛), factorial (n!), absolute value |x|, constants π and e, and parentheses for nested expressions.
Toggle DEG/RAD at the top. In DEG mode: sin(30) = 0.5 ✓. In RAD mode: sin(π/6) = 0.5 ✓. Always set your angle mode before trig calculations. Most competitive exam problems use degrees.
log (log₁₀) = common logarithm with base 10. log(100) = 2, log(1000) = 3. ln = natural logarithm with base e ≈ 2.71828. ln(e) = 1, ln(e²) = 2. In competitive exams like CAT and GATE, "log" usually means log₁₀ unless otherwise specified.
n! = n × (n−1) × (n−2) × ... × 2 × 1. Examples: 5! = 120, 10! = 3,628,800, 0! = 1 (by definition). Enter the number and press n!. Note: factorials grow extremely fast — 20! ≈ 2.43 × 10¹⁸.
Yes. Type numbers and operators (+, −, *, /) directly from your keyboard. Press Enter to evaluate, Backspace to delete, and Escape to clear. The display updates in real-time as you type.
